About Marc Silverman
I am an openly gay therapist. My earliest training focused on the LGBTQI community on issues of gender identity, depression, anxiety and disability. I also have extensive training in the field of relationship abuse. My role is to support my clients in reaching their desired goals. I am an active listener but I am also directive when I feel it is essential to healing and growth. Although many of my clients identify as LGBTQI, my practice is diverse and embraces all. Social justice and inclusion are core values that I hold.
I graduated from Columbia University with a MS in Social Work in 2003.
